A winter green biennial/perennial herb growing on coastal cliffs and maritime grasslands. It will grow in gardens and gravel beds.

The flowers simply buzz with activity on this species! It is also the foodplant of the Large, Green-veined and Small White butterfly. In our opinion, it is an absolute must in a wildlife garden.
