Tufted Vetch is a perennial and a member of the pea family. It provides pretty purple flowers on a scrambling stem. It is found in a wide range of habitats, such as gardens, meadows, roadside verges, woodland edges, coastal margins and hedgerows. It is also known as Cow Vetch or Bird Vetch. As it belongs to the legume family, it enriches the soil with its nitrogen fixing properties.

Excellent for pollinators.
