Red Clover is a probably our most well known native plant. It bears a round cluster of pinky red flowers and has trifoliate leaves. A real traditional hay meadow species, which provides an excellent nectar source for bees.  Red Clover is also very good at fixing nitrogen in its roots.

Flowers: July to September.

Height: 10-50cm.

Colour: Pinky red
