A beautiful wildflower of damp grassland, marshes and wet meadows, Marsh Pea is a delicate but distinctive member of the pea family. Its slender, climbing stems carry fresh green foliage and elegant, pinkish-purple pea flowers through the summer months.

Naturally associated with wet, often marshy habitats, Marsh Pea is a lovely choice for wildflower meadows, damp grassland, pond margins and other moisture-rich areas where it can grow naturally among grasses and other native plants. Marsh Pea prefers moist to wet, fertile soils; full sun to partial shade.

As are all our plants, our Marsh Pea is locally grown from native, local-provenance seed, helping to preserve the genetic character of wild plants.
