Hairy Vetchling produces delicate, pea-shaped flowers in shades of pink to reddish-purple, often marked with darker veins. Blooming from late spring through summer, the flowers appear in loose clusters and have a fine, hairy texture. They release a faint, sweet fragrance that attracts bees and other pollinators, adding to the plant’s appeal in wildflower plantings and natural landscapes.

It can be found growing on sunny banks and waste ground, so can be grown in sunny meadows or gravel gardens..
