WAYFARING-TREE Viburnum lantana

 A deciduous shrub of woods, scrub and hedgerows. Named, due to the fact that it grows near to paths showing your way home. In the spring, it produces a flat cluster of cream flowers.

The flowers are sought after by pollinators and in the autumn, the birds feast on the berries.

Foodplant of the elusive Orange-tailed Clearwing moth.
