Twiggy Mullein is a biennial neophyte. It grows well in most soils. Naturalized on dry banks, walls, field margins, rough grassland, pastures and waste-ground. This very attractive, non-invasive, self-seeds readily on gravelly substrates and the flower spikes are adored by bees and other insects.
