Wild Primrose is a wonderful spring perennial, providing a fabulous burst of colour and is a much relied upon food source for early pollinators.  It thrives in damp shady places and is easily spotted in hedgerows, woodlands and grassy banks in the spring time. Primroses grow very well with daffodils in garden situations.
