The true UK native bluebell. Thrives and spreads in woodland and hedge banks or under trees in gardens. Sweetly scented (unlike the garden escapee Spanish bluebell). An early nectar source for bees, butterflies and hoverflies. 

Height: up to 30-40cm

Flowers: April to June

Colour: purple
