Black Poplar is one of Britain’s rarest trees and The Forestry Commission lists this tree as being the most endangered native timber tree in Britain. Best suited for large gardens, open spaces and parklands. A majestic tree with glossy green heart-shaped leaves. Thriving in heavy, wet soils with a dislike for chalky soils.
If desired, carry out any pruning during the winter months when the tree is dormant.
Our Black Poplar trees are grown with authentic South Wales provenance. All our trees are gown solely at our own nursery site and range from. 5m to 4m standards in height. All our plants are male.
