The one plant that can do it all!
If you only buy one plant for pollinators, then the Alder Buckthorn is an absolute MUST!
This thorn less shrub is the food plant of the Brimstone butterfly. The long blooming, small flowers are incredibly attractive to a wide range of insects. From mid-summer and into the autumn, there are a succession of red, turning to black berries, providing a feast for birds.
Who can ask for more for your garden?
