A semi-evergreen herb that grows in colonies in wet areas. It can be found near river banks, canal banks, marshes, ponds and ditches. A marginal pond, good for the edges of pons and boggy areas. It produces clusters of yellow flowers in the summer.

A good all round plant for wildlife.
