Yarrow is a perennial plant of lawns, verges, meadows, grasslands, roadsides and waste ground.

It produces flat clusters of pinky-white flower heads. The dark green leaves have a feathery, finely divided appearance and the plant is aromatic. Due to it's attractive structure, it is often used by landscapers.

Excellent for both birds and insects, particularly hoverflies.
