A small bush perennial. A firm favourite at the nursery at is has the most beautiful minty aroma when the leaves are touched, or when brush passed. One of the best natives for sensory gardens.
Lesser Calamint produces an abundance of delicate pale pink/lilac flowers which are enjoyed by pollinators.
Grows well in rockeries and well drained garden beds and pots.
It provides a long-lasting source of nectar and pollen as it blooms from early summer into late autumn. Additionally, it's a relatively low-maintenance plant, tolerating drought and thriving in various soil types.
This species has declined significantly.
