Common Daisy is a rosette forming perennial which grows in mown or heavily grazed or trampled grassland. It is a familiar plant of garden lawns and parks. It occurs in practically all types of neutral and calcareous grassland but it does best in those that are relatively wet for at least part of the year. It also readily occurs on roadside verges and pastures.
