Creeping Willow is a small silvery green shrub species in the willow family. It grows best in damp soils including wet heathland or in damp dune slacks but will also grow well in neutral soils that are not too dry.

Super for pollinators, as it produces masses of pollen and key species for early bees. Many species of insect also feed on the foliage.

A species that has seen a dramatic decline.
