Bloody Crane's-bill is a native perennial herb. The intense crimson/purple coloured flowers of this large-flowered Geranium attracts a wide range of insect pollinators. It enjoys dunes, grasslands, rocky areas. Bloody Cranesbill can be used for ground cover in beds,  borders and provides a blaze of colour in rockeries. One of our favourites!

It is also the county flower of Northumberland.
