Rhosyn Gwyllt
A deciduous shrub found in hedgerows, scrubs and wood margins. The scented pink flowers are a good nectar source, the leaves are the food plant of the Grizzled Skipper butterfly and the red fruits are eaten by birds including redwings and waxwings. The hooked thorns make a great shelter for nesting birds.
