Species Description

Wild Liquorice is a native perennial which grows 10-30 cm in height and produces an abundance of partially hidden flower spikes amongst rather luxuriant dark green foliage during July and August. In Wales the species has an extremely limited distribution with the Baglan Bay area being especially important.
